Trip to London:
About London –
London is home to more than 8 million people, including the world's most famous royal family. It’s a city constantly on the move, in part due to the exceptional London Underground, red double-decker buses and famous black cabs.
Lining the banks of the River Thames, London’s skyline is a hybrid of historical and contemporary architectural treasures. Some of the old-world gems include Westminster Abbey, the iconic Big Ben clock, and Tower Bridge. Best Times to Visit London -
The best time to visit London is in the spring when the temperatures are mild and the city's parks are green and blooming. However, late spring – along with summer – is also prime tourist season, and hotel and flight prices reflect the surge. You're more likely to find airfare and accommodation deals in the fall and winter though you'll also encounter chilly temperatures. It's important to note though that December in London is an incredibly popular place to be during the holidays, so expect the streets to be crowded with both English and international tourists.
Trip to London: (March – May)
Peak tourist season in London is pretty much all year-round, but late spring (and summer) are especially busy. By making your London Town jaunt in late spring, you'll have the opportunity to witness the royal parks and gardens blossoming, and hit the city's weather sweet spot. However, the earlier you visit in spring, the more likely you'll run into slightly smaller crowds. While fall and winter can be especially rainy, and summer can get a bit muggy, spring in London enjoys a happy medium, with average temperatures hovering between the 50s and 60s.

Accommodation in London –
To make sure you enjoy your stay in the capital, think about booking a room at any of the 1578 London hotels that feature on Expedia's diverse lodging page.
London's premium options such as the Bulgari Hotel, London, at 171 Knightsbridge, and the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, at 66 Knightsbridge are bound to delight even the fussiest travelers. If you want to see what the more economical options are like, The Lanesborough, at Hyde Park Corner, and the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, at Hamilton Place, are worthy of your consideration too.
While you are visiting London you will almost certainly visit the Big Ben, so another option is to stay in the vicinity of this iconic attraction. The Grosvenor House Suites by Jumeirah Living is approximately 1 mile away. Also popular is the Claridge's, just 1 mile away.
